The Office of Development is your resource for staying in touch with, and supporting the activities of, St. Francis Central Coast Catholic High School. The office staff is available throughout the year to answer any questions you may have about St. Francis today and what the future holds for the school. The office fills many roles at St. Francis, all of them dedicated to our shared mission of building the Kingdom of God .
Liaison
Working closely with the Sports Foundation, the St. Francis Parents’ Association and the Board of Directors, the Office of Development supports fundraising activities benefitting the St. Francis community, including the Sports Foundation Barbecue and Auction, the Spring Festival, Winter Mardi Gras and other events.
Annual Report
This publication is a tangible reminder of milestones at St. Francis High, and of the generosity of so many people that make it possible. The Office of Development organizes the Annual Report each fall. Annual Report -pdf
Alumni Relations
Our alumni community grows larger with each graduating class. Already, many of our first alumni continue to distinguish themselves as they enter careers. The assistant for alumni relations keeps in touch with Sharks’ alumni and coordinates special alumni events throughout the year.
Outreach
St. Francis opens its doors to prospective students each year with campus shadowing opportunities, an open house day, and visits to local campuses and parishes. Campus tours can be arranged any time. Please call for an appointment.
The office also coordinates communications with local media, and maintains an active presence on the Web.
Annual Appeal
If we are to remain both a leader among college preparatory high schools and an affordable opportunity for the young, we must rely on the support of many. Each year the Annual Appeal seeks support from the larger community. Tuition covers less than three-fourths of the cost of educating each student at St. Francis, and it is only through the generous support of others that St. Francis is an attainable goal for many families.
Planned giving
There are many ways to help secure the future development of St. Francis. Planned giving offers many opportunities for estate planning that can be advantageous to you and the school.
Special events
We have many occasions to celebrate throughout the year. The Office of Development supports special events on campus ranging from feast day observances to special sports events. The best way to teach others about that which defines St. Francis is to invite them to come and see.
Scholarships
The Office of Development supports the efforts of the school’s Scholarship Committee. More than one-third of the students attending St. Francis do so with the help of financial assistance.
