Sahid Valenzuela signs Letter of Intent to Cal State Fullerton for Baseball

Congratulations to Sahid Valenzuela as he signed his Letter of Intent to accept a baseball scholarship to Cal State Fullerton. Valenzuela had been a verbal commitment to the Titans for months and now is officially able to be a Titan commit. Valenzuela also plans to major in Criminal Justice. Cal State Fullerton is one of the nations strongest Division I NCAA baseball programs as they routinely make their way to Omaha for the College World Series and have many alums playing Major League Baseball.

Valenzuela has enjoyed great success on the diamond for the Sharks both in team and individual recognition. Valenzuela was a starter on the varsity team during his freshmen season of 2013 when the baseball team won their first SCCAL League title in history. In 2014 the Sharks baseball team reached the CCS finals for the first time in school history and last season in 2015 the Sharks again won the SCCAL league crown and beat Archbishop Mitty in the CCS playoffs.

Individually Valenzuela has been awarded 1st Team All SCCAL Honors every season that he's been with the Sharks and has been 1st Team All Santa Cruz County every season. Last season Valenzuela was the SCCAL Offensive Player of the Year and was also 1st Team All State Small School Division Team. Once again congratulations to Sahid as he will continue his education and baseball career at Cal State Fullerton!
