Congratulations to both the girls and boys varsity basketball teams on beating Aptos Thursday night. The girls team won a wild one 49-48. The boys were close at half, but then pulled away with a 23-2 third quarter in helping win the game 60-42. Chase Watkins led the way with 23 points.
The Sharks teams earned home playoff games in the SCCAL Tournament on Tuesday February 16th. The girls will host Santa Cruz at 6 pm and the boys will follow at 7:30 pm hosting Soquel. If the girls win they will play Wednesday night at Scotts Valley with a TBD time and opponent. If the boys win they will play at Scotts Valley Thursday Night at 6 pm vs SLV.
