Sharks Football Wins Homecoming Game vs Marina 17-0

Congratulations to the St. Francis Sharks football team on their 17-0 win over Marina on homecoming. A huge crowd was at Strawberry field to witness a great game that came down to the 4th quarter before the Sharks pulled away for the win. At halftime the score was 3-0 as Cesar Sanchez kicked a field goal for the Sharks. In the 3rd quarter the Sharks pulled out a trick play as Receiver Andrew Seymour threw a touchdown pass to Cory Parker on a double pass. In the 4th quarter QB Derric Estrada-Haro connected on an 80 yard touchdown pass to Andy O' Rourke to seal the game.
 
The Sharks defense pitched another shutout as the D line played great led by Ethan LoBue who had a sack on the day. On the back end Devin McLeod had 2 interceptions and Joseph Ramirez had another interception as well as recovered a fumble.
 
The Sharks travel to Greenfield next Friday to take on the Greenfield High School Bruins in their 2nd MTAL Coastal League game. The Sharks overall record is now 4-1 and 1-0 in league. Go Sharks!
