Congratulations to the St. Francis baseball team on having 7 players make the SCCAL All League Team. This past year the Sharks finished 2nd in the SCCAL and made the CCS Finals at Municipal Stadium the home of the San Jose Giants.
First team all league players were pitcher Chase Watkins who had a 1.83 ERA and 72 strikeouts over 49 2/3 innings. Catcher Derric Estrada-Haro had 4 home runs, 24 RBIs, 8 doubles and 20 runs scored. Pitcher CJ Gomez had a 1.58 ERA and struck out 48 on the year. Outfielder Josiah Granados-Diaz had a batting average of .345 with 14 RBIs.
2nd baseman David Talavera III made 2nd Team All SCCAL, 1st baseman Josh Kovacs and shortstop Julian Mendoza were Honorable Mention All SCCAL. Go Sharks!
