Campus Life Home

Welcome to Campus Life
Don Bosco saw the original purpose of his mission clearly: to reveal to the young the love God has for them. Following Don Bosco's mission, here at St. Francis we build our campus life around this theme through the implementation of the Oratory Model.

The Oratory is an attitude and a method where every Shark:
  • finds a home where young people can feel welcome, safe and peaceful
  • finds a school where life skills are learned
  • finds a church, a place of prayer and spiritual development
  • finds a playground where fun and joy celebrate life
“It is not enough to love the young, it is necessary that they are aware they are loved.” -St. John Bosco
Students are encouraged to become involved in special interest clubs in order to further their experience in areas beyond the classroom setting. Faculty members accompany and help student officers establish schedules for meetings and activities. Whether it is a position on ASB or a spot on the 3D-Printing Club, there is a home for every shark.
ASB is lead by the Executive Board and its members make up Christian Service (Home), Student Council (School), Varsity Council (Playground) and Campus Ministry (Church).

The Coordinator of Youth Ministry and Moderators provide training, accompaniment, and coordinate this Salesian working structure of more than 40 students.

The ASB students organize and coordinate more than 50 activities and events each year. The faculty and administration know that students are at the heart of the school community; therefore we encourage student's input and feedback at every opportunity.
