Support St. Francis High School
Drawing upon the charism and tradition of St. John Bosco, St. Francis High School is committed to empowering young women and men to be successful. Our students have found this success in the classroom, on the court and field, and in the community as each demonstrates excellence while continuing to serve others in need. Students graduate from St. Francis, a Salesian college preparatory high school, as confident and dynamic young women and men of character who are ready to lead, inspire, and serve.
Our ability to provide an extraordinary Catholic co-educational experience is directly related to the ongoing and generous partnerships with alumni, parents, alumni parents, grandparents, friends, foundations, corporations, and other dedicated individuals and organizations that share our commitment. Your support helps make this vision attainable for talented young women and men.
Because tuition alone does not cover all the expenses at St. Francis High School, the school relies upon philanthropic support to maintain its academic excellence, affordability, and Salesian charism. With your support, St. Francis can continue its leadership role in Central Coast Catholic education while providing individual students with the education of a lifetime.
There are many ways to support St. Francis High School:
- Tuition Assistance and Scholarships
- The Annual Appeal
- Signature Events (Burgundy & Gray Dinner and Auction and the Spring Festival)
- Event and Development Fundraising Committees
Tuition Assistance and Scholarships
Built upon a commitment to academic excellence and Catholic values, St. Francis High School provides a truly unique educational experience. Alumni students and parents reminisce about the valued friendships they developed while at St. Francis, the beautiful 14.5-acre lakeside campus, and how the well prepared they were for success in college and life.
The cost of this experience, however, can be a significant sacrifice for families. For a number of deserving young women and men, tuition assistance means the difference between attending the school of their dreams and having to walk away from it. This is where the generosity of the St. Francis community is crucial to fulfilling our mission of offering this unique educational experience to all qualified students who want to be a part of our successful, Catholic community.
As you might expect, the demand for tuition assistance has steadily increased under the current economic climate. Because of you, St. Francis is able to keep the school within the reach of deserving young women and men who will benefit from this unique educational experience well beyond their four years here.
The Presidential Scholarship is awarded to incoming ninth-grade students who have demonstrated excellence in academics, community or parish service, school leadership, and outstanding character. The scholarship is renewable over the four years at St. Francis if the high standard is maintained. Applications for this scholarship are due in early November of each year, with the recipients announced by our annual Admissions Open House, held in late November each year.
Other named scholarships are awarded to students who meet the basic criteria as outlined by a donor. Typically, these gifts cover tuition and fees for an entire school year. The scholarships issued are based on availability.
