BINGO Home

Please support our weekly Saturday Night BINGO program as a volunteer and/or player.   Our St. Francis Bingo has been the largest annual tuition assistance fundraiser for a number of years.

All students receive a tuition discount as a result of our St. Francis BINGO.  This year each student received a $995 tuition break as a result of Bingo. Parents and friends of St. Francis, who dedicate themselves to fundraising in support of tuition assistance, run the program.

Since the school’s inception, Bingo has contributed more than $2.3 million dollars towards tuition assistance. Please contact Mr. Nick Guerrero if you are interested in working with people who are having a fun time supporting St. Francis and playing BINGO.

Who works BINGO?
All Freshman parents work Saturday Bingo.  If you are a Freshman parent then you are expected to fulfill your annual service hours through BINGO first.

All parents of students receiving need-based or merit-based tuition assistance are expected to work BINGO.  If you are a parent of a student that is receiving need-based or merit-based tuition assistance, then you are required to work BINGO in addition to your regular annual service hours.

All BINGO workers are scheduled to work their shifts by the school. A list of BINGO team members will be emailed to all BINGO volunteers. BINGO volunteers are encouraged to work the schedule provided by the school. In the rare instance that a volunteer needs to miss their scheduled BINGO event, the volunteer is encouraged to coordinate with other BINGO team members to ensure a replacement.  All sign-ups are confirmed through the x2Vol Bingo Parent Sign up or by emailing Mr. Nick Guerrero.

BINGO Volunteers
Each Saturday, more than 100 players attend our St. Francis BINGO.  At St. Francis, they enjoy a welcoming atmosphere, good company, good food and BINGO in a safe environment. It takes about 30 volunteers each week for Saturday BINGO to succeed. There are several jobs that are important to a successful BINGO including: Caller, Floor Manager, Verifier, Games Assembler, Sales, Stewardship, Accounting, Set-Up and Clean-Up.

Shifts run for 1.5, 3.5 or 6 hours in length.  Volunteer participation is tracked by hours, not shifts.  There are three shifts per event. Shifts occur on Friday night (5:30 to 7 pm typically), Saturday from 3 to 9 pm and from 8 to 11:30 pm. This is a fun group of people to work with and a pleasant evening of community building.
