As part of the application process, teacher candidates are asked to submit written responses to the following:

  1. Describe your basic philosophy of teaching. What are the beliefs that guide your actions as a teacher?
  2. Why do you wish to teach in a Catholic school?
  3. What is the contribution you can personally make to a school’s goals?
  4. How would you work to make St. Francis Central Coast Catholic High School a positive, caring learning community?
  5. How would you implement the teachings of St. John Bosco in your work as a teacher?

Applicants are responsible for notifying St. Francis Central Coast Catholic High School when they take a position or when, for some reason, they wish their application withdrawn from the active file.

These applications, if properly completed, will be kept for two school years. If, for any reason, the applicant if not appointed by that date and s/he still wishes to be considered for a position, a written request must be made to keep that application on file. When the applicant signs an Agreement, the completed file becomes the property of the employing school.
