transfer information

Students are welcome to apply for admission to St. Francis High School for their sophomore, junior, or senior year. Transfer applications are considered on a space-available basis.

Students who wish to transfer should be certain they meet the minimum criteria below before completing an application:

To apply to transfer to St. Francis High School, applicants must submit the following:

*All evaluation forms and transcript must be sent or faxed from the school or hand-delivered in a sealed envelope.

Applicants must also take a readiness exam administered at St. Francis High School.

Transfer applications will be evaluated by the admissions committee along with the academic vice-principal.  All courses, college-preparatory units, and grades must be recognized transferable and accepted by St. Francis to be applicable towards graduation.

Upon completion of application file, the admissions office will contact the family for a student and family interview with a member of the admissions committee.  Transfer admissions decisions are then communicated by mail within two weeks following the interview.

Upon admission, final transcripts (including the most recent grading period) must be submitted to St. Francis for review.

Transfer applications are reviewed monthly beginning March, 2010

Applications received after May 1 will be subject to a $25 testing surcharge to recoup increased scoring fees incurred by the testing service.
