Walk for Life

The rally starts at the Civic Center Plaza in San Francisco, and then those gathered will walk down Market Street.

St. Francis will not be chaperoning a group this year, but we encourage families and groups of friends to attend. Students can receive service hours for attending. For more information, please visit: www.WalkforLifeWC.com

Catholic Schools Mass
Sunday, January 26
The last Sunday in the month of January across the US, mass is said to celebrate and honor Catholic Schools. The first official Catholic School began in the US in 1606, founded by the Franciscan order. Today there are 6,289 Catholic Schools serving 1,789,363 students.

SF students are encouraged to attend mass on Sunday, January 26 in their St. Francis uniforms. Students who attend mass in uniform will receive a free dress coupon. To receive a free dress coupon, send a selfie of yourself at mass in uniform to Ms. McLeod. Include in the photo proof you are at mass.

The Feast of Don Bosco

Our Lady Help of Christians Parish
Come join our students and Fr. Ted Montemayor, the Salesian West Provincial, as he leads us in prayer to honor and celebrate our patron saint, St. Don Bosco, on his feast day. Mass will be held across the street at Our Lady Help of Christians Parish. All are welcome!

LA Religious Education Congress and Disneyland
Wednesday, February 19 - Saturday, February 22, 2020
Ms. McLeod and Mr. Castaneda will be taking 22 students to the LA Religious Education Congress Youth Day. The cost will be $350 per person. The trip this year is during our Winter Break, so no classes will be missed. We will leave campus the morning of Wednesday, Feb. 19 and return home the evening of Saturday, Feb. 22. Sign-ups will begin Monday, January 13.
