Tuesday the Sharks began a tough week, winning the first set against Soquel HS, but losing the next three to the Knights. Thursday the Sharks traveled to Harbor HS where the Pirates played aggressively. The Pirates’ hard-swinging outside hitters pressed their advantage at the net and dominated the court, winning the match. On Friday however, the Sharks played Thomas More School from San Jose and won in three straight sets. (25-11, 25-21, 25-6) The Thomas More Knights were a little outmatched by the Sharks, but played well and rallied together as a team and showed great sportsmanship. The Sharks play Aptos HS Tuesday, September 13 and Mt. Madonna HS Thursday, September 15 at St. Francis. JV begins at 5:00 pm, Varsity at 6:30 pm.
