Sharks Football Beats Harbor

Congratulations to the Sharks football team on their 35-0 win over Harbor to put the Sharks to 3-1 on the season. Junior Quarterback Derric Estrada-Haro threw for 2 touchdowns and ran for another score on the day. Both touchdown passes were to fellow junior Brandon Moakler. The other touchdowns were scored on runs by Senior Richie Martinez and Junior Carson Cuzick. 10 different Sharks carried the ball on the day for a total of 227 yards on 28 carries. Estrada-Haro finished 7 for 8 with 120 yards passing on the day.
 
The defense led by Senior Andrew Ciandro and Junior Josh Kovacs pitched its first shutout since 2012. The Sharks go to Harbor next Saturday at 2 pm in hopes to go 4-1 on the year for the first time since 2013.
 
The JV team won on Friday vs Valley Christian-Dublin 41-14. The game was tied at halftime and that is when the Devin McLeod and the defense took over then on offense Justin Parker, Andrew Seymour, Aaron Soto and Abel Martinez ran for touchdowns behind a great offensive line led by Center Oscar Zamora.
