St. Francis Alum Set to Play First Professional Football Game in Germany

Class of 2010 alum Chad Lucas is set to play his first game as a professional athlete this Saturday as his Saarland Hurricanes host the Munich Cowboys at 6 pm German time, 9 am Pacific Standard Time in the top level of the German Football League. Lucas will be playing Wide Receiver for the Hurricanes and wearing #15. Lucas is one of three American players who were flown over to compete for the Hurricanes where the rest of the players are European. The Hurricanes are coached by Oregon high school coaching and european coaching legend Tom Smythe.
