Application Process & Timeline

International students who wish to apply to St. Francis High School must submit scanned copies of the following materials to be considered for admission:

  1. Application for Admission
  2. Parent / Guardian Survey
  3. A Copy of the Students Passport
  4. Transcripts of School Records - (Translated to English)
  5. Certificate of Results of English Proficiency (TOEFL, TOEFL Jr., ILETS, IBETS)
  6. TWO Letters of Recommendation:  One from the student's English teacher.  One from the student's Mathematics teacher.
Upon receipt of the above documents, the International Student Coordinator will contact the applicant to schedule a Skype interview at the applicants' convenience.  
 
The Skype interview is an opportunity for the applicant and the coordinator to meet personally and assess the applicant's English skills.  There is no testing done during the interview process.  
 
After the Skype interview the International Coordinator will present the completed applicant file to the administrative team for an enrollment decision.
 
The student will be notified of the decision by email and will be given details for proceeding with the deposit of registration funds and completion of paperwork for issuing the I-20.  
 
The original I-20 will be scanned and a copy emailed to the applicant in order to secure a visa appointment.  The original I-20, original acceptance letter and any other necessary paperwork will be mailed Fed Ex International mail directly to the student.
