Dear Middle School Students and Families,

We are excited to have you on our campus this evening. The interest in this Middle School Dance has been exceptional and there will be many opportunities for students to meet their peers from many of our local middle schools.

A few things to keep in mind when planning for the evening:

The dance is from 7 - 9 PM. Registration will begin at 6:45 PM
Guests who have not arrived by 7:30 PM will not be admitted
A $5 cover charge will be collected at check-in (cash or check)
Only those who have pre registered AND have a completed permission slip will be admitted (permissions slips will also be available at check in)
Students must remain in the dance (gym) until the doors open for pick up
Students may be picked up as early as 8:30 PM
- Parents are asked to park and come to the front of the gym for pick up
  - Guests will be dismissed by grade level starting with 6th grade
- Parents, please make sure to arrive at St. Francis for pickup by 8:45 PM
Dress Code
- All shoulders and midriffs must be covered at all times
- Wear comfortable, close toed shoes as bare feet will not be allowed
Only middle school students, approved chaperones, and St. Francis High School student leaders and employees will be allowed inside the gym - no high school students from other schools
Students will not be allowed to bring any food or drinks into the dance (water and snacks will be available)
Phones must be kept in a pocket or purse/bag at all times
Any student seen using a phone in the gym or bathrooms will have their phone confiscated and it will be held until parents arrive
A respectful distance is expected between students at all times, but especially while dancing
Backpacks and bags larger than a small purse will be held at the check in table
Alcohol, tobacco products, and drugs of any kind are strictly prohibited. Any student perceived to be under the influence will be with them individually and parents will be expected to pick up the student immediately.
Masks are not required, but students are welcome to wear them
