From the Dean of Students

Welcome back, students and parents. I would like to highlight a few things to begin this 2019-2020 school year. To those Juniors and Seniors who are driving yourself to school: the assigned parking will begin on Monday, 8/19/19. Expect an email detailing both where you’re parking and the rules with which you have agreed to comply. By now, you should have completed the on-campus parking application located in the Front Office; if not, please be sure to do so. Otherwise, you are at risk for your car being removed.

As you transition from summer vacation back into your regular school routine, please make sure you are getting plenty of sleep at night and getting up early to be at school on time. Make sure to also check the calendar to see what classes you have and what the dress expectations are for the day. This includes young men to be clean-shaven and young ladies making sure their skirt length is appropriate.

Also, please be aware of the changes in the St. Francis Student/Family Handbook concerning cell phones. It is now the expectation that when you enter the front gate in the morning, your cell phone is to be turned off and kept in your backpack until the end of the school day. This also includes tutorial periods.

Please feel free to contact me or email me with any questions you may have. I’m looking forward to having a great school year!
