Reminder: Saturday, February 1st is the Calamari & Pasta Feed! You can buy your tickets in the Main Office or at the door to help support Sharks baseball, softball and wrestling programs.
Monday, February 3rd from 5-6 pm is the Spring Sports Parent Meeting. The meeting will begin in the Art Room (E1) and then we will break out to specific sports: baseball, softball, track & field, swimming, golf and boys volleyball. Please make sure your child’s physical is up to date and that they have taken the baseline concussion test so they can participate. Student athletes involved in winter sports will need to finish that sport before moving on to a spring sport.
Sunday, March 1st at 5 pm is the Winter Sports Banquet in the BAC. Winter sports families, we hope to see you there as we celebrate our wrestling, basketball and soccer teams!
Girls soccer is 2-6-1 with big wins over Oakwood and Monterey. The other night they had a tied game vs. a very talented Soledad team. Senior Day for Girls Soccer will be on Thursday, February 13th vs Greenfield. Please check the Athletics Calendar as soccer match dates/times often are adjusted due to the weather.
Wrestling is doing well and we went 6-2 in actual matches vs. Pacific Grove and Rancho San Juan. The last few PCAL meets are as follows: Wednesday, February 5th at Pajaro Valley and the PCAL Cypress division finals on Thursday, February 13th at Gonzales.
Girls basketball is 8-8 in the season with a 1st place finish in the Watsonville tournament and with big wins over PV, North County, Oakwood and Monterey. Senior night will be Friday, February 7th vs. King City.
Boys basketball is 10-4 in the season, fresh off league wins vs. PV and Watsonville. Our boys won the Watsonville tournament and have had other big wins vs. Oakwood, King City and Gonzales. Senior night will be Monday, February 10th vs. Soledad.
