On Saturday, the Lady Sharks Hoops team played in the championship game against a very good Santa Cruz team. The Sharks beat the cross-county rivals and won the tournament, 41-39. Sonja Shumake had 10 points, 6 steals, 5 assists and 7 rebounds on her way to winning the tournament MVP! Jessica Ward had 10 points, Kiko Ragsac and Amber Martinez each had 7 points and Izzy Shahmirza chipped in 6 point. Everyone played great defense in the win. The Lady Sharks, still undefeated at 6-0, play Tuesday night at home against Seaside.
