The Sharks opened up the North Monterey County Condor Classic with a 50-36 loss to Menlo Atherton. Cold shooting in the first half left St. Francis in a hole they couldn't dig out of in the second half. Ranked #1 by MaxPreps in Division I of the CCS, Menlo Atherton got hot from behind the arc in the second half and held off the Sharks. Freshman Sandor Rene Rodriguez led the Sharks with 12 points while Junior Nick Wempe added 11 points for St. Francis. Brian Dobler led St. Francis with 8 rebounds.

Cooper Scherr led the Sharks with 11 points and 8 rebounds. Sandor Rene Rodriguez added 6 points while Brian Dobler pulled in 9 rebounds for the Sharks.

St. Francis snapped a two game losing streak with a 71-22 victory over Pajaro Valley on the final day of the North Monterey County Tournament. St. Francis jumped out to a 26-0 lead and never looked back. Austin Nethercutt scored a career high 10 points joining Sandor Rene Rodriguez, Brian Dobler, and Nick Wempe who all chipped in 10 points a piece to lead the Sharks. Rodriguez added 7 rebounds and 6 assists for St. Francis. Matt Clifton pulled down 7 rebounds while Dobler, Matt Powers, and Josh Rodriguez each snagged 6 boards for the Sharks. St. Francis is now 5-3 on the season and will return to action on January 3 at Anzar.
