St. Francis Boys Soccer Has Strong Showing to Start League Play

Sharks boys soccer is going in the right direction under first year coach Vince Monroy. After winning a pair of non-league games the Sharks lost their league opener to the Harbor Pirates 4-2 on Wednesday. The young Sharks team has played well in non-league games and took a quick lead against Harbor with goals by sophomores Will Salady and Jose Suarez. Salady's goal was assisted by fellow sophomore Jack Peoples. Senior goalie RJ Zuniga had a good game totaling 9 saves.

The Sharks return to the pitch Friday at San Lorenzo Valley High School at 3:30 p.m. Come out and support your Sharks.
