Stanford Golf Course
The Sharks harriers, led by pacesetter Braxton Rico, who placed 69th in a field of 139 Division 5 runners, ran well Saturday at the prestigious Stanford XC Invitational. The sextet consisting of David Ambriz (19:48), Thomas Zhu (20:46), Leslie Zhou (20:59), Nathaniel Ramos (21:26), Jerry Yu and Allen Xu sealed their team in 4th of Central Coast Section D5 teams.
Cati Bianchi led the Lady Sharks with a 23:04, while Olivia Burke set a lifetime best in 24:03 as well. Noella Mendoza also had a strong showing on the 5,000m gently sloping course.
Thursday, October 2nd the St. Francis XC team will host San Lorenzo Valley, Harbor & Mt. Madonna at Pinto Lake County Park- Boys 4pm & the Girls at 4:30pm.
