Your St. Francis Sharks beat Palma 1-0 today in boys soccer. The Sharks goal was scored by Isaac Wentzien on a free kick. Goalie Keenen Zech and the Sharks defense pitched a shut out. Senior Will Salady led the way on defense and was not playing at 100% because of an illness. Helping out on the defensive end was senior Jose Suarez, sophomore Brandon Moakler, freshmen Sergio Cervantes, Wentzien and seniors Luke and Paul Colosi. Junior Chris Copriviza, sophomore Cory Parker, sophomore Carson Cuzick and junior Rafael Ribiero kept the pressure up on the offensive end.
The Sharks are now 3-0-1 on the season with wins over Monta Vista Christian, Palma and Trinity Christian. The boys take the field next on December 9th at home vs. Anzar at 3:30 pm. Come out and support your Sharks!
