Congratulations to Chloe Deleissegues, Janiya Sevilla, Jason Gallo and Chase Watkins for being selected to play in the North/South All Stars at Alvarez High School in Salinas on Friday Night for the North team. The girls game the North won 92-80 as Sevilla had 22 points and Deleissegues had 8 points in the game. Jason Gallo had a great game on the boys side and Chase Watkins did not play as he is currently on the Sharks baseball team.
Deleissegues and Sevilla were both 4 year letter winners on the girls side and were on the 2014-15 CCS championship team and the 2014-15 & 2016-17 teams that both went to the Nor Cal Tournament. Deleissegues was recently named the SCCAL and CCS Female Scholar/athlete of the Year. Sevilla finished her career scoring over 1,000 points for the Sharks. Both were named Honorable Mention SCCAL this past winter.
Gallo and Watkins were 4 year letter winners on the boys side helping the programs win 92 games the last 4 years. Both were selected 1st team all SCCAL this past winter and both were starters on the 2016-17 team that won the SCCAL, CCS, Nor Cal and State Finalists. Congratulations to these great student/athletes!
