Sharks Football Beats Pajaro Valley

Your St. Francis Sharks beat Pajaro Valley 41-0 on Friday night at Cabrillo College. The scoring was early and often for the Sharks as the scoring started with a 3 yard run by Andrew Seymour. Quarterback Joseph Ramirez had quite a night as he ran for 2 touchdowns and threw for 2. A 29 yard run put the score at 14-0 and then he threw a touchdown to Abel Martinez to put the score at 20-0 at halftime.

The Sharks broke the game open in the 3rd quarter with an Aaron Soto 4 yard TD run, a 47 yard TD run by Ramirez and a TD pass from Ramirez to Devin McLeod for 15 yards. The offensive line of Lawson Orradre, Hunter Blinkenberg, Johnny Ceballos, Diego Ramirez and Logan Manson paved the way for the scoring.

On the defensive side McLeod had an interception and linebacker Andy O' Rourke led the defense that pitched a shutout. The Sharks next week take on Watsonville at Watsonville HS at 7:30 pm Friday night September 7th. Go Sharks!
