Your Sharks Cross Country teams who both made CCS last year started their year at the Chieftain Invitational.
For the girls Junior, Camryn Ryan led the girls on the 3.0 mile course in 23:05 and was followed closely by senior, Riley Croghan- 23:07. Croghan raced hard as she set the pace in the Varsity girls race for 9 minutes. Senior, Natalie Henn, freshmen Peyton Croghan and senior Mary Claire Whitney rounded off our top 5 girls.
For the boys Freshmen, Julian Vargas led the pack of Sharks with 19:34 finish at Toro Park, Salinas on Saturday September 8th. Erik Kane clocked the boys 2nd fastest team time with a 20:31. More contributions came from Mathieu Morin-22:11, Julian Wolfe-23:54, Miguel Aguilar-24:57, Jacque Morin 26:53 and Zach Ridgeway 28:08.
The Sharks will be back at Toro Park on Saturday September 15th
