Sharks Football Beats Pacific Grove

Congratulations to your St. Francis football team on their 56-27 win over Pacific Grove Friday night. The game was close until the 4th quarter as in the first three quarters the scoring went back and forth. Pacific Grove started the scoring, but the Sharks answered with a Joseph Ramirez 69 yard TD pass to Andrew Seymour. It was the first of 5 touchdowns on the night for Seymour. The offensive line of Lawson Orradre, Diego Ramirez, Johnny Ceballos, Hunter Blinkenberg and Logan Manson opened holes all night. Seymour ran in a touchdown for 3 yards and ran another just before halftime for 70 yards. In the 3rd quarter Devin McLeod returned a kick off 90 yards for a touchdown. Pacific Grove cut the Shark lead to 28-27 just before the 4th quarter when the Sharks offense caught fire helped by a Joseph Garibay interception and Seymour ran 65 yards for a touchdown. Then a 44 yard touchdown run by Ramirez and a 40 yard TD run by Seymour. The final score of the night came on a 1 yard run by Aaron Soto. Cesar Sanchez was also 8 for 8 on extra points.
 
The statistics on the night were very impressive for the Sharks as Seymour finished with 6 carries for 187 yards with 4 touchdowns and also 69 yards receiving with a touchdown. Abel Martinez ran 8 times for 61 yards and Soto ran for 57 yards on 18 yards and a touchdown.
